Somewhere in between a hillside of Catskill Mountain hemlocks, a rusted out Studebaker full of empty moonshine jars, and the sixth-moon of Saturn is the point in space and time where sounds collide, sparks fly, and Connor Kennedy sources the inspiration for his music.
Born in northern New Jersey in 1994, and raised amidst the lush greenery of New York’s Hudson Valley, Kennedy spent his childhood years collecting classic movie monster memorabilia and working as a stand-in for a CBS soap opera, before falling in love with music and taking up the guitar in the third-grade.
In his early teens, Connor rose to prominence in the fertile Hudson Valley music scene, performing with local and world-renowned talent alike on the local circuit and throughout the northeast region.
Recently, he shifted his focus to songwriting and began laying the groundwork for his first record- a collection of songs that encompass many genres, but create something new entirely.
Kennedy’s sound calls heavily upon the archetypes of rock and roll, but uses the influence only as a tool to guide toward the light of the future.
